The brief

For Transparency Reasons Only - Since 2013, the MoD has been unsuccessful in recruiting a Contract Delivery Management Team (CDMT) to be based at BAES Maritime-Submarines Barrow-In-Furness through Civil Service recruitment campaigns.

There is a need to provide a CDMT capability through external recruitment of resource.

It is Government Policy that all public bodies needing a consultancy service use the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to procure the requirment in order to ensure best value for money for the tax payer.

The HRMC framework was used to appoint the vendor through an open and fair competition.

The appointed vendor is responsible for: - A targeted search for potential candidates using the output of the mapping exercise - Directly and discreetly contacting potential condidates and briefing them on the opportunity and benfits associated to generate interest - Sifting CV's - Performing any initial screening as prescribed by MoD - Co-ordinating interview availability and logistics - Maintaining a pool of potential candidates for future roles - Managing candidates and maintaining interest through the recruitment process - Providing feedback to candidates at each stage of the process - Supporting offer to successful candidates to on-board as quickly as possible
