The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) has been conducting an annual survey of the UK population since 2016 to measure a number issues relating to personal debt: - Over indebtedness and seeking advice for problem debt - The experience of getting advice for those who did - Reasons for not seeking advice for those who did not - Need for debt advice - assessing the respondent's need by asking about their financial situation We also ask demographic questions including sensitive questions so that we can analyse our findings by sub-groups who may be vulnerable to financial hardship.
This is a repeat of this project for a further year, with optional 12 + 12 month extensions.
