Tenders are invited by the Council from Providers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for the provision of Kirklees Integrated Community Equipment Services (the "Services").
The aim of the Service is to provide an Integrated Community Equipment Service that enables Service Users to live as independently as possible, in their chosen home, and enables Health and Social Care Services to function effectively and without delay.
Facilitate hospital discharge policies and prevent otherwise avoidable hospital admissions and preventing Service Users from developing more complex needs and protecting them and their Carers from harm or injury.
The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is approximately £3.1m per annum over an initial five (5) year contract period.
The anticipated commencement date for the Contract(s) is 1st April 2025.
The anticipated expiry date for the Contract(s) is 31st March 2030, with the option to extend for further successive periods up to 31st March 2035.
The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") is conducting this procurement process using the open procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("PCR").
