The brief

Cavity Wall & Loft Insulation Programme - Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4 Hillingdon Council is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to deliver (as the sole main-contractor) a programme of Cavity Wall & Loft Insulations over an agreed programme period for 1,594 domestic dwellings in Hillingdon.

Works will be delivered via fixed cost contract under the JCT Minor Works 2016 Contract, (MW) with Hillingdon's bespoke amendments.

Under the process, prospective bidders are required to complete a supplier questionnaire and its associated appendices and provide a fixed price for completing the chosen Lot.

The programme is broken down into Lots as follows: Lot 1 - 531 Properties Lot 2 - 531 Properties Lot 3 - 532 Properties Lot 4 - Lots 1, 2 and 3 combined The estimated value for each of Lots 1, 2 and 3 is £350k Lot 4 is estimated at £1m Full details of this opportunity and the requirements are included in the procurement and contract documents.

All prices must be fixed for the period of the works and be inclusive of all labour, plant, materials, profits & overheads etc. but exclusive of VAT The proposed contract will be for a period of 12 weeks and must be completed by 31st March 2021.

Lot 4 will only be awarded at the expense of awarding Lots 1, 2, and 3 individually to separate Tenderers if it is the most economically advantageous option.

The London Borough of Hillingdon retains the right to award some, all or none of the four Lots.
