It's an exciting time for Democratic Services in Sandwell, with an ambitious change plan underway.
We are looking for a team member to join us for a 12 month period in a fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in transforming our digital democratic processes and strengthening the ways in which we engage residents in local democracy.
We're looking for an experienced ICT professional who is able to transpose working practices into efficient digital workflows.
The Council currently operates with Xpress elections management, Modern.gov committee management and Civico webcasting systems alongside our Member portal which operates using Granicus technology.
Whilst working knowledge of these would be beneficial, it is not essential, as comprehensive training would be provided to the right candidate.
Working collaboratively with Members and Officers, your personal contribution will have a positive and lasting impact both within the council and to the residents of Sandwell.
You must be a team player willing to provide a comprehensive support service, dealing with high volumes of work and used to working under pressure to tight deadlines.

All Committee meetings are taking place at Sandwell Council for which attendance may be required.
