The brief

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier who can provide the provision of both GBSLEP Growth Hub Evaluation & Quality Assurance services.

This contract will be for a period of 1 year commencing 1st April 2019 until 30th March 2020.

The contract will be renewed on an annual basis based on previous performance.

For up to a maximum period of 2, one (1) year extensions.

The first part of this contract is to collate and analyse data required for the production by GBSLEP of the annual review for Financial Year 2018-19 in time for the BEIS imposed external deadline of 25 May 2019.

This information is generally available within partner organisations and the Hub has a central CRM system used by all partners and projects for the recording of interactions and key information on businesses.

This data will be available for the successful contractor.

The BEIS Annual Review template for 2017/18 is at Appendix 2, as an example.

This will also require some sampling of historic clients to provide qualitative and quantitative data around quality and client satisfaction.

Secondly, GBSLEP has a framework for quality and client satisfaction and the successful contractor will be expected to review this and offer suggestions for a robust framework, which meets the needs of BEIS and the LEP, moving forward.

They will then undertake the necessary sampling, analysis and reporting on a periodic basis (to be agreed but at most quarterly) for the Financial Year 2019-20.

The current framework on quality and satisfaction is based on the BEIS metrics and evaluation and this is reproduced on the final page of the monthly GBSLEP Growth Hub KPIS and Performance Data Registration and use of in-tend is free.
