Lancaster University is inviting tenders for Clerk of Works services for the Management School East Estate Development Project.
Lancaster University's Management School (LUMS) have embarked on an ambitious programme to redevelop and expand the existing management school complex of buildings.
A first phase of the Management School redevelopment (LUMS01) has been successfully delivered to provide the new built West Pavilion.
The second phase of the development (LUMS02) consists of the refurbishment of existing buildings Gillow House, Graduate Management School, Lecture Theatres 5-8, Gillow Quad and Lancaster Leadership Centre.
The project also includes an element of new build construction to create a link corridor between the existing buildings and major structural works to create an impressive new entrance off the spine.
The West Pavilion, Lancaster Leadership Centre and Lecture Theatres 5 to 8 will remain operational for the full duration of the works.
The Clerk of Works is there to assist all the members of the construction team to ensure that the required standards are maintained.
Main Works: Start date: July 2024.
End date: September 2025.
Construction Budget: circa 16.6m.
