Cardiac Telehealth Monitoring Service (ECG interpretation service) - the service supports people who require a hospital admission due to heart failure, awaiting cardiac surgery or COVID-19.
A Telehealth virtual ward will monitor the patient at home and provide treatment to prevent hospital admission.
Remote monitoring for patients who have recently had a heart attack to reduce A&E attendance and prevents readmissions to hospital.
The contract expenditure for 2023/24 was £30,000.
This notice is for a Direct Award C PSR process to commence from the 22nd of October 2024 to 30/09/2025 bringing the lifetime value of the contract to the value of c.
£30,000.
Under the test for considerable change this is within the permitted criteria (not exceeding £500,000 and 25%).
