Collection and Processing of the Household Waste Recycling Centre Wood

Cardiff Council is looking to secure a 6 month recycling contract (with an optional 6-month extension) for the collection and processing of the Household Waste Recycling Centre Wood. The Council operates two residential HWRCs at Lamby Way (CF3 2HP) and Bessemer Close (CF11 8XH) and a Commercial WTS at Bessmer Close, generating an average monthly tonnage of 480 tonnes, however this tonnage is not guaranteed and is subject to seasonal fluctuations. Should the Council decide to proceed, a formal procurement process may follow at a later date. Any responses received will not prejudice any involvement in a future procurement process and will not include or preclude any organisation from participating in any future procurement process. All information provided as part of this exercise will be provided to all parties involved in any future procurement exercise. Local Authorities are subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and cannot guarantee that information received will remain confidential. •Can you please provide the Council relevant experience of providing collection and treatment services for similar tonnages to this contract. •Please provide the Council with an example of the structure of your charges for such a service to indicate annual fees. •Details of Transportation options available to service this contract.
