The brief

The Council is seeking a number of organisations to provide CLC services across Leicestershire to Adults aged 18 or over who are eligible for CLC Services and/or to receive a managed Personal Assistant service (PA’s) following the completion of a Care and Support or Carers Assessment by LCC.

The Service must be able to cover the needs in the Care/Support plan and note that this may include weekend and evening working hours.

The primary purpose of the CLC Service is to enable people to remain in their own homes, living as independently as possible to achieve and maintain their potential in relation to physical, intellectual, emotional and social capacity.

The provision of support will also be designed to help maintain the health and wellbeing of Carers.

Service Providers should provide a level of support to assist people to build on their current strengths and develop their abilities to look after themselves without becoming dependent on support.
