The brief

Keele University, School of Allied Health Professions, commence a new qualifying 2-year MSc in Prosthetics & Orthotics (PO) in January 2022.

This will be the first Master's level PO graduating programme in the UK.

This invitation to tender is to equip the Gait Laboratory, to support the education of students on the programme.

The contract is divided into two lots, Lot 1- Gait Lab- Force Plates System and Lot 2- Gait Lab Motion Capture Camera System.

Tenderers can bid for one or both lots.

The estimated total value of the contract is 150,000 pounds excluding VAT.

The contract will run until the Completion Date of 13th December 2021 followed by a 12 month defects liability period.

Training and Maintenance support will be provided for a 12 month period.

All tenderers are required to answer a number of Suitability Assessment Questions to enable the University to assess whether they meet minimum standards of suitability, capability and financial standing.

The University shall identify the most economically advantageous tender for each lot in accordance with the criteria set out .

The maximum score available for each lot is 1000 marks, divided into 600 marks for Technical (Quality) and 400 marks for Commercial (Price).
