Torbay Council is conducting this Call-Off procedure in relation to regular secure collection and secure shredding, destruction and (where possible) recycling of sensitive and confidential Authority paper and media waste.
Call-Off exercise is utilising the ESPO 981_23 Secure Shredding and Confidential Waste Disposal Framework Agreement (Lot 3 - Off-Site Shredding (based on weight - price per kilo).
Only those Lot 3 suppliers on the Framework who have geographical coverage within the South West of England, will be invited to participate in this Call-Off process.
The successful supplier will be required to provide lockable waste consoles to ensure that Authority employees can readily comply with data protection requirements, within all Authority premises.
The consoles are required to be emptied via regular scheduled collections as well as occasional ad-hoc requests.
The Contract will be available to use by all of the Authority's business units within all corporate buildings, and other Authority locations throughout Torbay.
The Contract will be available to any Council wholly owned subsidiary companies, including but not limited to SWISCo, Torbay Economic Development Company t/a TDA, Medical Tuition Service, and any maintained schools within Torbay
