The brief

This contract is to upgrade the existing stock of Body Worn Video cameras within the Civil Enforcement Team.

This is essential to aid in prevention of and recording of incidents whilst operating on the front-line, therefore Devon County Council require cameras that meet the specification and offer a pre-record function.

This upgrade has also arisen from the need to ensure a more robust technical solution for the processing of the data captured.

In-line with the requirements of ICT, this requires a cloud based solution that is secure and meets the requirements of GDPR.

Devon County Council currently require 46 units to replace existing stock, however plan to increase our staffing resource, therefore will require the ability to purchase more units going forwards.

This contract will also be used by other of Devon County Council departments if the requirement arises.
