The brief

The British High Commission Kingston has been approved OED fundings to conduct essential maintenance for the HVAC system. The chilled water and air handling system continues to fail intermittently, restricting the supply of chilled water to the main office building.

With the capacity of individual water chillers reduced to approximately 15% and unable to operate at full potential, the system is approaching the end of its operational life.Additionally, the corridor fresh air system and chilled water pressurization systems require comprehensive maintenance, as fluctuating high temperatures in the office significantly affect staff comfort and present health and safety and operational risks.

The water pumps further require urgent replacement to enhance system reliability and improve the overall performance of the chiller.Maintenance services are urgently required to replace the necessary parts, disassemble compressor No.2 to repair refrigerant leaks identified during Johnson Controls’ emergency 11 – 17 March 2025 visit, and install replacement water pumps.
