The brief

The Council and Central North West London (CNWL) are taking a joint approach to the provision of Targeted Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service for Children and Young People in Identified Vulnerable Groups in Brent.

The targeted service will support children and young people aged 0 to 18, or aged 0-25 for those with an Education, Health, Care Plan within priority groups who have identified emotional health and well-being needs.

All children and young people accessing the service must have a Brent residential address and a Brent school with the exception of Brent Looked after children and those children with a Brent EHCP.

The service shall provide support, clinical advice and training for professionals working with children and young people and a range of evidence based interventions working directly with children, young people and families in priority vulnerable groups.

The services will be underpinned by clinical leadership and services will be clinically led with clinical oversight of the quality of services.

The service will provide suitable experienced, skilled and qualified clinicians/practitioners with a range of professional training and CPD to meet all aspects of service delivery.
