The brief

Background National Highways has various large national frameworks using Option C of the NEC contract.

These require defined costs to be audited and reconciled.

This Work Order is for a resource to provide a service supporting the national audit team in carrying out defined cost audits for people and equipment across various frameworks and contracts, primarily, but not limited to, the Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) and the Pavement Delivery Framework (PDF).

Occasional Project Manager assessments may be undertaken utilising the audit outcomes.

Commercial Delivery Operations require the services from a role as detailed below Role Location (consultants choice) Work Office days 1 x Lot 1 Role 11 Contracts Advisor and Auditor Snow Hill (Birmingham) - monthly team meeting with occasional additional team working days Schedule of Cost components defined cost audits As described below The allocated works are subject to change dependent on needs of the business, but the office location will remain the same.

The resource is to support defined cost audits and reconciliation on various national highways frameworks for 2 months with an anticipated contract start date of week commencing 01/10/2025.

The resource shall attend National Highways office at Snow Hill Birmingham for planned monthly meetings on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

Additional incidental team working days will be arranged based on team availability, but as a minimum 1 day a month will be with the whole team at Snow Hill in Birmingham.

There may be some additional travel to visit suppliers offices.

The resources must meet the role profile, be able to work independently within the team, and must be able to work full time.
