Livestock Disposal & Transport
In the event of an Animal Health Outbreak and some BAU scenarios, disposal and transport services are required to deal with the disposal of livestock carcasses following a cull operation.
The objectives of this procurement exercise are to: - Establish a new contractual vehicle with suitably qualified service providers in preparedness of reacting to an Outbreak situation and BAU for Disposal and Transport services. - Use lessons learnt from the AHTSS framework appointments to inform decisions with a specific focus on supplier engagement and amalgamating the requirement into one service need; - Run a compliant open, fair and transparent procurement exercise to establish service before 20 September 2020;
