The University of Birmingham has a requirement for the Provision of Pressure Systems Safety Regulations Authorising Engineer and Written Schemes.
The contract requirement includes the following (not exhaustive): o Provide for a monthly visit by the Competent Person (Written Schemes PSSR) with a further option for two monthly visits should this be chosen by the UOB. o To review the status of existing WSE (PSSR) and amend existing schemes as required. o To update Inspection Procedures (PSSR) as required o To review Inspection Reports and report back at monthly compliance meetings as necessary. o To update Inspection Procedures as required. o To include all offsite work to a maximum 2 days per month. o Carry out a review of the role of the site Authorised Persons as requested. o To provide unlimited telephone support for any queries relating to PSSR. o To attend monthly compliance meeting as arranged. o To advise on PSSR requirements for new equipment /projects. o To provide onsite assistance with the Prime software as required. o Link PSSR Inspection reports to Prime Assets (Where received electronically. o Link supplied documents to Prime assets.
