Council Aids & Adaptations Works

Unitas are looking to appoint up to 3 contractors to carry out works on their Aids and Adaptations programme, the works will include but are not limited to; level access showers, door widening, internal alterations, kitchen adaptations, ramps, handrails, external doors and other external alterations.
The works will be allocated using the cascading method meaning all works will be offered to the 1st place contractor following the tender evaluation.
If the 1st place contractor is unable to carry out the works it will then be offered to 2nd place and so on.
The contract period is for an initial 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years commencing in October 2023.
The works will be awarded based on MEAT evaluation and the split is 50% price, 40% technical and 10% social value.
