The brief

There is an ongoing task to develop, produce, maintain and improve DA4T &QA owned/sponsored MOD wide support engineering policy.

A significant amount of this policy is now hosted within the Defence Logistics Framework (DLF). there is an enduring requirement and there will be a year on year commitment for support engineering policy and process to be reviewed, improved and developed to meet the changing needs of the business, adhere with the DA4T & QA control framework, (as well as mandated regulation & legislation) and optimise efficiency through coherent and effective support engineering related activity across the enterprise.

In order to deliver this requirement in a coherent, effective and efficient manner, there is a need to produce support engineering process that is fully aligned with associated supply and logistics policy and process.

This will require a comprehensive review of how existing support engineering policy and process is currently being delivered, involving a significant degree of stakeholder engagement (across all environments) to identify where these interfaces and relationships are and how they impact upon each other.
