The brief

UKSPF Green Skills Contract The Council seeks proposals from organisations with the capabilities, experience, capacity and local networks to deliver a bespoke project to 31st March 2025.

This project should provide residents and businesses operating within Cherwell with the opportunity to gain a green skills qualification through a bespoke package of fully subsidised training places for residents and businesses.

The project should deliver a wide range of courses to support the net zero transition and maximise the opportunities it presents.

The project could also look to support businesses in other sectors to adapt to the net-zero transition and embed low carbon practices within their organisation.

Courses and training for supervisors, managers and those in strategic positions could be offered to assist them in identifying and maximising opportunities to shift towards low carbon modes of operation.
