Derby City Council require an electronic system for collecting accurate information about attendance, exclusion, school and placement moves, out of school hours learning, attainment and progress for Looked After Children in our care, also providing electronic Personal Education Plans.
Note that the electronic Personal Education Plans system will not be considered or procured on its own, but only as an add-on to the Attendance Management System.
The successful supplier will need to take into account differing IT needs, abilities and compatibility in proposing an appropriate solution, which within the scope of this procurement are: • Software licences and upgrades (including if concurrent or named users) • Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud solution or client (Customer) hosted environment • Implementation, configuration and integration services (with project management) – for any new system • Systems validation and control/administration • Secure system back-up/contingency planning, with data archiving facilities • Documentation and user training • Helpdesk and application support and maintenance • Data conversion and migration – for any new system The contract period is three years; the contract is estimated to commence 23/07/2016 and expire 22/07/2019.
