The scope of works can be summarised as reconfiguration of the existing 7 temporary housing accommodation units into 5 self-contained units offering homes with support to families seeking permanent accommodation.
The works are: Demolition of some internal walls to accommodate new layout Structural alterations to load bearing interior walls Structural temporary supports New interior partitions and structural walls Ground works, soft and hard landscaping including provision of bike store, bin store and EVCP External drainage alteration Service alterations to electric and water and disconnection of gas.
Surveys undertaken and quotes obtained from service providers.
New Kitchens and Bathrooms Compartmentation and works associated with the new fire strategy New CCTV system linked back to Appletree Court (NFDC) Fabric upgrades to meet MEES Solar install.
Heating provided by new ASHP and radiators.
Hot water provision by Sunamp Therrmino (solar optimised).
Full retrofit co-ordination of fabric measures and domestic heating and hot water provision Meet all building regulations milestones and planning conditions.
Work in conjunction with NFDC's agent and attend weekly progress meetings Provision of Site Management and suitable contract management throughout the duration of the project.
Erect adequate site safety measures See Appendix B - Outcome Specification for further details.
