Market Engagement Event for Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) service for South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SWCCG)
NHS Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of the commissioners, South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SWCCG), would like to invite providers to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the CCG's intentions to procure an out of hospital service to manage the majority of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) patients.
The provider of this service will; • Provide continuity of care, and improved patient experience and choice; • Demonstrate clearly defined quality standards and indicators, (based on NICE QS29 Diagnosis and Management of venous thromboembolic disease); • Provide greater value for money and more cost effective means of service delivery.
The main benefits and expected outcomes, as well as those listed above are: • To provide an accessible, good quality community based DVT service that is also cost effective; • To provide patients with choice and continuity of care; • To release capacity in secondary care.
The Market Engagement Event will take place 1.45pm - 4.00pm, Wednesday 5th July 2017 in Leamington Spa.

The Market Engagement Event will present: • an overview of the service to be provided, • details of the anticipated contract type, length and particular conditions, • an overview of the procurement process and the anticipated timeline, • an opportunity for you to ask questions and feedback on the presentations.
