Digital Microscopy Systems
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
Four digital microscopy systems are to enhance existing equipment for digital imaging, particularly for applications that do not lend themselves well to either traditional microscopy or macrophotography approaches.
These include large, complex samples requiring microscopy to be carried out on awkward shaped or large specimens (for example fossils, large osteological specimens); specimens where an arm-mounted microscopy system might be useful (for example in the Conservation Centre, Libraries and Archives); and specimens where this will offer a solution for basic 3D data acquisition.
