The brief

DN2 is a partnership between Nottinghamshire County Council, Nottingham City Council and Derby City Council which has contracted with Outcomes for Children (part of the Polaris Children' Services) to provide tailored interventions with specific cohorts of young people aged 10-16 years old.

The aim of the programme is to support children and young people to achieve stable family type placements (e.g. stepping down from residential care with new types of support) and to remain at home with their families or primary carers where safe to do so.

DN2 is seeking a robust evaluation of the intervention programme on both the impact it has had on the individuals that have been referred to the programme and whether the intended outcomes were achieved for each of the four cohorts.
