Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Services
Lincolnshire County Council (the Council) commissions Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation across the county, offering accommodation for victims and children fleeing domestic abuse.
The Council are currently in the process of re-commissioning this service to continue provision when the current arrangements end.
The service will provide short term accommodation to support domestic abuse victims and children to address the immediate safeguarding needs of those individuals, and in addition provides support aimed at survivors moving into independent living and breaking the cycle of domestic abuse within their family.
The Supplier will be responsible for managing accommodation, which may include Refuges as well as other forms of accommodation, alongside the terms of this contract.
The refuges and other accommodation provision aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for Individuals and children, with the goal of promoting stability and supporting the individual to achieve independent living, as well as referring to appropriate local services.
All elements of this service are in the scope of the re-commissioning and therefore engagement will be undertaken initially by gathering the views of the market through a pre-procurement market engagement questionnaire, with details of how to access the questionnaire and deadline for submission is at 12 noon on Monday 1st July 2024.
