The brief

Nottingham City Council has secured Warm Homes Local Grant (WHLG) from Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) to improve the energy efficiency of privately owned domestic properties located within the City.

This contract is for the appointment of a main Contractor to carry out a programme of retrofits.

The Contractor will design, install and provide warranties for measures using a fabric first approach to improve energy efficiency of homes.

These include External Wall Insulation, Internal Wall Insulation, Room in Roof and Loft insulation.

Renewable Energy Saving measures include Solar PV Panels and Batteries and low carbon heating measures include Air Source Heat Pumps and High Retention Storage Heaters.
