The brief

The School of Food Science and Nutrition which is part of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Leeds, undertakes a diverse range of fundamental scientific principles to addressing issues of food quality with collaborators across the university campus, external institutions and organisations.

It is seeking tenders for a tribometer to complement the facilities offered within its oral and allied soft tribology research.

Typical application areas include (but are not limited to) coefficient of friction and Stribeck curves measurement, traction under different lubrication regime, film thickness measurement and friction under transient conditions.
