Design & Build at 339 Norwood Rd, Norwood, London SE24 9AH for Southern Housing - AWARD
Southern Housing require a contractor for the design, site clearance, construction, commissioning, and defects rectification of 45 residential units within a single block and two cores in Norwood Road London.
Units will all be constructed to a "General Needs Rented" specification and will ultimately be delivered to provide a mixture of Social Rented and London Living Rent flats.
The Tulse Hill, Norwood project is a distressed project whereby the Employer, (Optivo Development Services Ltd which is a subsidiary of Southern Housing) terminated the JCT Design and Build Contract with the Contractor, Henley Construct Limited, in the early part of March 2023.
In the intervening period, Southern Housing have secured the site and have been reviewing various options to re-procure the Work to complete the project.
The decision has now been made to invite suitable Contractors to prepare and submit a single stage tender to complete the Works.
