Appointment of a qualified Occupational Health Provider for the provision of an on-site service for 2 days per week, 52 weeks per year, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at its headquarters in Bridge Street, Reading or other local sites.
The successful provider will be required to provide Occupational Health services to the Council's 4,000 employees.
Service provision will include advice on occupational health and safety, sickness absence, a range of medical and health assessments including pre-employment screening, vaccination programme (which may be carried out by a third party), medical examinations, audiometry, respiratory screening, health promotion, maintenance of medical records and maintenance and provision of management information.
The contract will be for an initial three year period with an option to extend for a further period of up to 36 months, subject to annual review and future funding allocations.
