Premarket enegagement for sustainable lighting
Warwick District Council (WDC) is looking to replace its rural, car park and country park lighting stock (and possible owned assets/sites where a future lighting need might be identified) with low carbon sustainable lighting.
This may include anything from the replacement of bulbs in existing structure to the provision and installation of full lighting solutions.
It will also require maintenance and testing of existing lighting columns.
The Council has also made an ambitious commitment to ensure that all of its contracted services are net-zero carbon by 2025.
We would like to engage with suppliers to establish how feasible this commitment is within this particular market.
The contract will run for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 5 years on satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
The contract spend is estimated to be £450,000.00 for the initial term Pre Market Engagement virtual meetings via WebEx with potential Providers will be organised for the w/c Monday 6th July 2020.
Exact time for meetings to be confirmed.
