The brief

The University of Northumbria at Newcastle is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers that can demonstrate previous experience in supporting clients to introduce and bring to life a new brand identity, through replacement of all estate signage and wayfinding displays.

Northumbria is an ambitious, challenger institution.

Our inspirational people, intellectual leadership and innovative thinking mean we can lead the way in a changing world.

We are confident, bold, creative, energetic, inquisitive and warm.

We are innovators, collaborators and leaders.

Together we can Take on Tomorrow. #TakeOnTomorrow - is our new brand and the core platform for all of our campaigns and communications.

We are seeking a new partner with a proven record for managing an end to end project solution, taking our new brand and bringing it to life throughout the university estate.

Partners will be expected to provide a variety of design options conforming with brand guidelines, manage the procurement of all new signage in accordance with University financial regulations, and manage the delivery and replacement of all new installations as defined by the final agreed scheme.

This will include liaising with local authority and managing any associated planning approvals.

Expressions of interest will only be considered from providers that have proven previous experience in managing and delivering all aspects of the proposed project requirements.

Suppliers are therefore requested to attach previous project examples of a similar size and nature to that of the Universities requirements.

Responses to be received by 5pm Thursday 22nd March 2018.

Moving forward the University intends to review all Expressions of Interest received with a view to shortlist a selection of appropriately experienced suppliers to invite to submit a formal tender proposal.
