The brief

2497/006/CW/CYMRU/20 Mobile Bin Picking Platform The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Mobile Bin Picking Platform on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement The equipment's overview requirements are to supply, commission and provide training for minimum 3 staff to operate a mobile bin picking system incorporating a robotic arm and grippers and latest version controller, with a 3D camera system capable of using AI and adaptive learning to refine the process, integrated with on an autonomous platform for mobility and transport.

All equipment should be integrated together to be used as a single system and all equipment should have relevant software provided as part of this tender.
