Software Development Partner
The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is calling for expressions of interest to this Prior Information Notice from suitably qualified companies to partner in supporting and developing several in-house developed and wholly owned applications.
This includes our mission critical and award winning Electronic Patient Records application and external website christie.nhs.uk.
The ideal partner will have extensive experience of supporting applications at all points along the SDLC and a customer focused attitude to support and resolution of issues.
ITIL compliance will show ability to deliver improvements and implement change in a regular, controlled and agile process.
The partner vendor is expected to bring several areas of expertise and resource to the contract: • Helpdesk support with full SLA within agreed service credits • Proven experience in developing in Classic ASP, SQL, C# and MVC • Agile development of new functionality within agreed development credits • Dedicated testing resource and rigorous QA processes • Capital resources • Business development expertise The applications and key technologies may include: • Electronic Patient Record System (Classic ASP, SQL, JavaScript) • Integration Middleware - automated emails, electronic file transfer and SMS (MVC, WebAPI) • Web Based Reporting Portal (MVC) • External website (Umbraco, MVC) • Patient Information Display system (MVC) The partnership will involve taking existing solutions under support and not to replace with like-for-like applications, however if other solutions are available that meet the requirements this may be considered.

Individual informal discussions will be held with interested parties who express an interest during early 2016.
It should be noted that this engagement exercise in no way guarantees that a procurement exercise will be run at a later date.
At this stage the purpose is to gather information and any organisations that participate do so at their own risk.
All IP for existing and new functionality developed within the partnership will remain with the Trust.
