ROYAL FREE LONDON NHS FOUNDATION
Sterile Services & Endoscopy Decontamination Facilities Project Bidders Information Day
A Bidders Information Day will be hosted by Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (“the Trust”) on Monday, 19th of September 2016 from 14:00 - 16:00 in the Peter Samuel Hall, 1st Floor, Medical school.
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust ("the Trust") will shortly be seeking to obtain expressions of interest from the market to assist in the overall strategic delivery of the Sterile Services and Endoscopy Decontamination Facilities.
The Trust is expecting a preferred partner to be appointed to initially undertake the Design, Build and Equip, of New Facilities to deliver these services and depending on the overall commercial outcome of the competitive dialogue process, the Trust might consider a longer term Joint Venture or equivalent approach that can demonstrate the highest levels of service and quality at the most economically advantageous price to suit the trusts needs and potential NHS Partners.
At this stage The Trust has not made firm decisions in respect of the operation of these facilities and will use the competitive dialogue process to define the optimal proposal(s)/solution(s) for which the Trust will seek to explore innovative solutions, based on changes in practices and technologies.
A key factor for the trust in sourcing a preferred partner, will be their ability to deliver the new facilities via the tender process and post tender phases within the timescales to coincide with changes at the Chase Farm site in mid – late 2018.
Bidders with experience in delivering Sterile Services facilities, from a Design, Build or Operate perspective are invited to participate in this project, and will be encouraged to form consortiums or equivalent, or through their extensive existing supply chain, to demonstrate their overall capability to deliver Design, Build and Equip.
The Trust will be holding a bidders day on the 19th of September 2016 to answer questions about the process.
Please RSVP to Jenny Kervarrec by 23:59 on Friday 16th of September 2016 via email: rf.ppstenders@nhs.net Note that the Trust has appointed UCLPartners Procurement Service (“UCLP PS”) as the delivery partner for this procurement.
