'The framework Agreement will offer NHS Scotland Health Boards a variety of food waste disposal solutions, from food waste production to food waste storage area, that can be tailored to suit the specific site requirements and meet the requirements of the Waste (Scotland) Regulations 2012.

Only technology solutions which are acceptable under the regulations will be selected for the Framework and, as part of the evaluation process successful suppliers proposed equipment will be reviewed by SEPA to confirm its suitability for use in Scotland.
