e-ITT for the Retrofit of Electric Bin Lifts Closing Date for Submission of Tenders 12.00 NOON, 30 AUGUST 2024 to be returned electronically via the Council's e-tendering solution "Pro-Contract" hosted on the South East Business Portal (SEBP) Scope Overview: The Council requires, seven retro fitments of electric bin lifts to augment existing Dennis Eagle, Olympus body RCV's to ensure the new bin lift service has the appropriate equipment to ensure an effective service outcome.
They are to be of the latest design and to comply with manufacturer's specification and all present and foreseeable, Construction and Use Regulations, with certificates confirming that the vehicle has been approved, in order to meet the NFDC specification.
The electric bin lifts forms part of the new service roll out of wheel bins for NFDC, to ensure efficiencies and introduce flexibility in service provision.
NFDC are keen to show that the environment is top of its agenda and would like to see the options for energy and fuel saving technologies, with the aim to reduce emissions and promote a cleaner agenda for transport within the District.
