Expressions of Interest are sought for the ecological surveying of Rickmansworth Aquadrome Local Nature Reserve.
TRDC is tendering for a contractor to complete a suite of surveys for the site.
Surveys should be completed before the end of July 2024 (please highlight in your submission if this deadline would impact the quality of data obtained from any of the surveys) and reports provided before the end of September 2024.
TRDC understands that the optimal window is from May to July to perform these surveys.
Ecological surveys and assessments should be carried out by a qualified, suitably experienced ecologist using recognised methodology and at an appropriate time of year.
Sufficient information to demonstrate the competence of all involved should be provided in line with the standards set out in BS8683.
All surveys must be compliant with BS 42020: 2013 Biodiversity Code of Practice for Planning and Development.
The Ecological Surveys required are Field-based habitat survey, Bat Survey, Riprarian Mammal Survey, Reptile/Amphibian Survey and a Coleoptera Survey.
