Wigan Council require the installation of metal fencing/barrier works at Dorset Road Playing Fields, Atherton, Wigan, M46 9GJ, Greater Manchester.
The metal fencing/barrier required to be installed are 525 linear metres of 0.6 metre tall metal knee rail fencing with 75mm x 75mm metal posts and 75mm x 75mm RHS metal top rail set Birdsmouth - gaps every 12 metres to be 1.25 metres wide - access barrier 1 off 4 metre wide heavy duty swing access barrier with lock open metal post approximately 0.9 metres tall.
Before commencing the installation of the metal fencing/barrier works, a full CAT (Cable Avoidance Tool) scan must be undertaken in order to ensure there is no damage to underground services (water, electricity, gas utilities).
Bidders are required to submit a price for galvanized only and a price for galvanized and powder coated black.
The works must be completed within a period of 2 weeks from start on site.
It is envisaged that the works will commence week beginning Monday 18th March 2019.
