Surrey County Council and East Sussex County Council launched a shared service partnership (Orbis) in April 2015 for the delivery of integrated HR, Property, ICT, Finance and Procurement services to both County Councils.
Brighton & Hove City Council are currently undertaking a period of due diligence with a view to joining the Orbis partnership.
It is expected that Orbis will continue to grow over the next few years with a focus on achieving its aims of being the ‘Compelling Alternative’ - delivering improved services whilst realising necessary cost efficiencies for all partners.
Surrey County Council is currently utilising a single supplier through the London Contracts and Supplies Group framework.
East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council are currently utilising a single supplier through the Sussex Office Supplies Consortium framework Orbis is currently reviewing its stationery requirements and route to market options
