The brief

The University undertook a discovery assignment during March to May 2019, focused on documenting a high-level business case for implementing an enterprise wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to engage and manage the entire student lifecycle.

The primary objective of the exercise was to assess what successful outcomes could be achieved in the short term and the longer term from any future deployment.

The scope of this assignment did include high level understanding of the existing operational environment and most importantly, identify at a high-level, options currently available to realise short term wins and longer-term benefits.

The assignment provided evidence to the University that they have a need for the development of a new single common platform for its ongoing CRM requirements.

The roll out of a common platform will allow for the e-commissioning of legacy, point solution CRM applications plus many small databases and spreadsheet tools.

It will allow for process rationalisation and data harmonisation across the Universities institution.
