The brief

The objective of this work is to undertake an assessment of the potential impact of radioactive gases released from the wastes within the disposal facilities at the LLWR, and from these to derive radiological capacities where appropriate.

Only two such radioactive gases are of concern, C-14 and radon.

The work is concerned exclusively with the release of radioactive gas to the gas pathway
