We are an independent, public interest body and our work in regulating architects ensures that good standards within the profession are consistently maintained for the benefit of the public and architects alike.
Under the provisions of the Architects Act 1997 only those on the Register of Architects can legally use the title 'architect' in business or practice in the UK.
ARB is looking to engage individuals or practices in Scotland to provide advice and execution of investigative work in relation to allegations of unacceptable professional conduct or serious professional incompetence following referral of cases to a Professional Conduct Committee (PCC) hearing.
