GB-Middlesbrough: Replacement Telephone SIP Trunk Lines
This sits in the lower-middle of the Radio, TV & Communications Equipment band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 6,686 valued Radio, TV & Communications Equipment tenders in our corpus.
Teesside University's telephony services are primarily based upon two platforms: •Unify iSDX telephone system supporting approximately 2,000 telephones. •Microsoft Skype for Business (SfB) solution supporting approximately 200 telephones.
Additionally the University has invested in Microsoft Teams for their Unified Communication requirements for staff and students, supporting 800 academic staff and 4000 students.
Following a recent assessment it was concluded to remove any dependencies of the legacy telephone systems, and that a replacement telephone solution would be put in place.
Teesside University is seeking bids from suitably qualified Suppliers for the supply of a resilient SIP service to support its replacement telephone solution across the campus locations.
The University requires that the SIP Network Services be engineered and architected in a manner to facilitate the University's requirements, and enables the migration of telephone services from the legacy telephone systems to the new telephone solution over a period of time.
Accordingly, the Bidder shall be responsible for the supply, installation and configuration of SIP Network Services to address the requirements.
To facilitate business continuity it is expected that the infrastructure is distributed within two data centres (Middlesbrough Tower and Parkside West).
The Bidder shall base support pricing upon a three year contract period with two optional one year extensions (i.e.
3 + 1 + 1) and then indefinitely on a 12 month basis.
