Prosecutor General Office Assistance project

This project presents an opportunity for the MF2 to contribute to the rule of law and anti-corruption reform in Ukraine, which was determined as one of the GGF MF2 thematic priorities and enhance the UK's reputation as a supporter of reform among other major donors.

In case of successful results this TA may be continued in further phases, helping the PGO with its reformation and turning into an effective and trusted institution, ensuring fair justice for citizens and businesses in Ukraine.

The expected outputs are: • Functional analysis of the PGO Investment Protection Department pre-trial investigation supervisory function and analysis of best international practices related to investment protection, as well as PGO's approach to communications with business community.

This will result in a description of the current processes "as is" and as defined by the regulations "should be". • Methodological guidance for public prosecutors on investment protection and interaction with businesses, filing complaints.

Providing recommendation on target processes to be embedded. • Training manual on reengineered processes for prosecutors in the central and regional PG offices and communications capacity building for the PGO Investment Protection Department and Press-service.
