Corby Borough Council Affordable Housing Consultation Exercise
Corby Borough Council has a target to build 50 new council homes by March 2018.
Corby wishes to gauge market interest in this project and also gauge how the market might be able to support Corby to complete this project.
The outcome of this market engagement exercise, will inform any subsequent procurement.
Hence, Corby invites interested parties to submit a brief (1,000 words maximum) on how they could support Corby to fulfil this requirement, whether in terms of land, development or sale of properties.
It is anticipated that respondents might include parties who already own land within the borough, or with access to land within the borough or who plan to purchase land within the borough.
The Council is also interested in hearing from interested parties with houses already completed that might meet some or all of their requirements.
Such new build homes would have to meet the authority's minimum requirements in terms of location, size, standard and price.
Further details of the project are attached to this notice or may be downloaded from the corresponding advert on Source Northamptonshire.
The deadline for responses is 28th August 2015.
Responses must be submitted in writing to Corby Borough Council at the address stated in this notice and addressed: 'FAO Democratic Services Manager - AHP Response - Deadline 28/08/15' Please note that this is a market engagement exercise and NOT a call for competition.
