Project location HM Naval Base Portsmouth The Contractor shall be expected to adhere by the HMNB site security requirements, all Contractors and Sub-Contractors shall be BPSS security vetted and will be required to hold the relevant site security passes.
The Contractor shall be expected to hold the following levels of insurance £10m Public Liability, £10m Product Liability, £5m Professional Indemnity.

The joint venture will combine the expertise of KBR as a global leader in infrastructure asset management and services with BAE Systems' experience and capability within Portsmouth Naval Base.
KBS Maritime are delivering an ambitious, modern and enduring change to the Portsmouth Naval base infrastructure, securing investment in the local community and ensuring fit-for-purpose, world-leading fleet support for the Royal Navy and the UK in the decades ahead.
Project Background KBS Maritime have a requirement to replace 2 mobile cranes which have reached the end of their life with new assets to support the future operations of the Naval Base as follows: 1x Telescopic Mobile Crane 110T: Minimum Boom length: 60 m, Minimum load capacity: 100T, Crane shall be capable of carrying own ballast.
1 x Mobile Crane 160T-250T (size & scope TBD - will be issued in ITT Due to the nature of the Naval Base, the cranes are required to be able to contend with a variety of terrain, and new assets are required to have consideration for reducing environmental factors to support enterprise net zero aims.
The project includes familiarisation/ operator training for these assets, test certificates, warranties and delivery to site.
Budget circa £2.5m.
