Landscape Maintenance contract Expression of Interest

Expression of Interest.

West Bletchley Council wishes to enter into a 10 month contract for maintenance of general landscaped areas of open space within the parish of West Bletchley.

West Bletchley is predominantly a residential area, with little in the way of commercial property.

There is an abundance of open space areas, including general grassed areas around and between dwelling houses as well as identified parks and sports areas and grassed highway verges.

Being one of the older established parts of Milton Keynes, there are many established trees bordering roadways and in parks.

Chepstow Park is one of few parks in Milton Keynes to retain Green Flag status.

West Bletchley Council provides a devolved Landscape maintenance service on behalf of Milton Keynes Council and is seeking an interim 10 month contract to enable it to continue devolved service delivery until the end of the current term for devolution in March 2020.

The future delivery of Landscape maintenance is currently under review by Milton Keynes Council.

West Bletchley Council is intent on maintaining the high standards that have been set over the last 5 years as expected by local residents, and to develop both the management and use of those open space areas.

Start date 1st June 2019 End Date 31st March 2020 Expressions of Interest in this contract should be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 2nd November 2018.
