The attenuation pond at the Fire Training Ground on the airfield has been reviewed, the current pond has a 2mm HDPE liner to prevent the water migrating and this has been damaged and reached the end of its life.
We are seeking a new lining solution to address this issue.
In addition, the upgraded attenuation pond is required to have a lid/roof to prevent contamination from wildlife, rubbish and to keep the contents of the pool from dispersing across the airfield.
We are open to alternative solutions, not necessarily a like for like replacement.
